How we started
Somehow in 2021, when Pavel Mulik (son of Evgeniia Mulik CFO/CMO, co-founder of the project, Pavel was born in 2008, studying at the school with an enhanced program for future engineers from 2020) received the task to create an idea of innovative start-up.
There were many ideas. But the main one was to create a smart cane with scanner for the blind people with a “reciprocal” part on pedestrian crossing posts. Pavel with the assistance of his mother and Anton Avdeev CEO (co-founder of our project), made a model of a cane with programmed signal processing controller. It gave a vibration in the handle of the cane and blind people got the possibility the safe crossing of the street. However, there was just an idea of 13-years old teenager…
Two years later, we came to the conclusion that it was good start to think more and more. We decided to find the right way to provide the blind people with possibility of safe moving. It should be a unique comprehensive solution that would allow to all people move around the city safely. Last years many people started using electric scooters in a very aggressive way. They drive very fast and are not able for emergency braking in the most cases. They are dangerous because they do not use mechanical forces, but stand in a relaxed way.
On the other hand, we could see around the streets of the big cities the growing number of people walking with smartphones in their hands. Let us call them “chronic phone users”. They are searching the best routes, surfing in the net, playing games etc. Finally we’ve found the solution: we have to create an application for a smartphone that would comprehensively solve the problem of timely warning of danger.
Any participant driving on the sidewalk would have the opportunity to receive an effective warning about an obstacle or danger right on time. This is how the Vista Alert project started in January of 2023. We are the team of co-founders: Anton Avdeev, Ekaterina Samoilova, Evgeniia Mulik and Maxim Kukorenko. We have all necessary knowledge and competencies to implement the project.
We want to do it in Spain due to many reasons, but primarily focusing on advanced position of the country to the blind people and people with limited mobility. Also to developed “accessible” urban environment and a friendly attitude towards start-ups. We appreciate the possibility to scale the project in the European Union where is commercial success of the project is as important as social responsibility.
We offer today
The most important innovative advantage of our company is the integration of available capabilities of smartphones and artificial intelligence achievements into a single set of platform that increase the level of people’s safety. The basic version will be free of charge for all categories of people (also we will offer to the market the premium version which is paid according to user’s wishes). We have found a way to monetize this service via B2B segment collaboration.
We have developed innovative algorithms:
1. Determining the level of danger of an obstacle, highlighting moving objects – electric scooters, bicycles, vehicles.
2. Informing the user about the danger moving in his direction, taking into account the time for reflection and decision-making. The purpose of this algorithm is to enable the user to make a conscious decision and avoid danger.
We are going to create a network with a non-governmental, non profit-making European organization. We’ve already sent the information letters to these organizations and hope to start communicating with them.
Based on the social part of the project for the blind and visually impaired people and people with limited mobility and attracting a large number of users, we will give street retail, as the main market segment that monetizes our service, a unique innovative opportunity to have direct access (taking into account protected personal data stored with all security measures in a separate cloud) to behavioral portrait of a loyal consumer. We use smart contracts and combine them with user-friendly payment systems.
